Shailyn Danielle Radke

Shailyn Radke passed away on Thursday July 16, 2020 at the age of 26 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Zack; children, Vincent & Jolene; her mother, Geri-Lynn; many extended family and friends.

Shailyn loved and appreciated the things in life that most people take for granted. She had an awe and respect for nature and all its creatures. She tended to everything from plants to animals to insects. She had such a thirst for knowledge, constantly inquiring, questioning and researching all of life’s mysteries. She was intelligent and possessed a wealth of knowledge, some of it random tidbits of information.

Shailyn was a talented artist. She had a keen eye for details and enjoyed drawing animals and nature. She was genuine, honest and had no qualms speaking her mind. She had perseverance and drive, determined to accomplish whatever she set her mind to.

She was a nurturing mother, caring wife, loving daughter and loyal friend. She will be missed.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Pierson’s Funeral Service (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday July 25, 2020 from 10:00am – 12:00pm.
