It is with great sadness that the family of Alex Chute announce his tragic passing in Calgary on October 17, 2017 at the age of 29 years. Alex grew up in Calgary and attended school at St. Bede, St. Joseph and Queen Elizabeth where he met many of his friends who were so important to him. Alex was warm, kind and had a smile that would light up the room. Alex loved to work in the restaurant industry, watch movies, golf, play his guitar, rugby and most of all, to entertain his friends and family with his great sense of humour and love of life. One of his favourite sayings was ELE everybody love everybody. Left with wonderful memories that will be cherished forever are his mother Paula (Tim) Voykin, father Donald (Donna) Chute, brother Matthew, sister Kaitlyn, step brothers John and Taylor, grandmothers Doris Woit and Joan Jary; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. Alex will be deeply missed. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael Catholic Community at 3:00 pm (a viewing from 2 3 pm) on Thursday, October 26 which is located at 800 – 85 Street S.W. Calgary, Alberta. A celebration of life will be held in the St. Michael Gathering area immediately following the Funeral Mass. On Friday, October 27 at 11:00 am, Alex’s remains will be placed at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens Cemetery which is located at 24223 Township Road 242 Calgary, Alberta.
