Allan Anthony Lambert

The sun rose on May 2, 1959 when Allan ‘Tony’ Lambert was born in Georgetown, Guyana, South America to parents, Myrna and Allan Lambert. Tony came to Montreal, QC in 1973 and joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1978 and retired in 1988 as a Master Corporal. He earned his certificates in Hospitality Management then created his own active gear wear in Vancouver. Tony also ran a successful pharmaceutical company and became President of Action Committee for Black Affairs (ABAC). He was a leader and had a gusto for life. He had a larger than life personality. The sun set for Tony on August 17, 2020 at the age of 61 from severe heart disease when he was on the verge of launching Lambert Design & Drafting.

Tony is predeceased by his grandparents, Stephanie & Adolfus Joseph; uncles, Mark and Jocelyn Joseph and aunt, Enid Joseph.

He is survived by his fiancee, Dudu MaDube of Botswana, Africa; parents, Myrna Joseph and Allan Lambert; children, Kathleen of Montreal, Micheael Anthony of Edmonton, DeMarco and Giovanna both of Toronto; one grandchild, Kaya; his siblings, Colin, Susan, Michelle (Mahogany) all of Toronto, Dwayne of Ottawa and Vanessa of Montreal; along with 200 cousins; 8 nephews; 3 nieces; 6 uncles; 7 aunts and many, many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held for Tony at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Please note: Due to gathering restrictions, attendance is limited to 40 persons.
