Allan “Wayne” Bond

With much love and sadness, we bid farewell to our dear husband, father, grandfather, cousin, uncle and friend, Allan “Wayne” Bond, who passed away peacefully on September 24th, 2017, after a sudden and brief illness.

Wayne was born in Teulon Manitoba, where he was raised on the family farm and completed his high school education. After high school he attended the University of Manitoba where he received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. After relocating throughout the prairies several times during his career, he finally settled in Airdrie, Alberta in 2001. Wayne is survived by his wife, Beverly Bond (nee Mabley), sons Jason Bond and Jeffrey Bond; step-children Carrie Graham and Phil Townsend; grandchildren Cayley, Scott and Isabella, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Allan and Ruth Bond.

On Wednesday, October 4th, 2017 a service will be held for Wayne at 11 a.m. at Pierson’s Funeral Services (4121 – 17 Ave SE, Calgary). A luncheon will also be held at Pierson’s immediately following the service, and a private interment will be held on a separate date.
