Allen Edward Brian

Allen Edward Brian,  passed away suddenly on January 5, 2024, at the age of 43. He was born on December 25, 1980, in his hometown of Calgary. Al had the biggest heart and loved deeply. His warm and caring nature endeared him to everyone he met. To know him was to love him.

Allen was a level-headed and relaxed individual who approached life with a calm demeanor. He had flaws like anyone else but always tried his best in every situation. He believed in living life to the fullest and cherishing every moment.

One of Allen's greatest joys in life was spending time with his loved ones. Being surrounded by family and friends brought him immense happiness. Allen had a tight bond with his son, Jon and felt great pride watching his granddaughter grow. He held a special place in his heart for his wife Christal Brian. Together they created a beautiful family that will forever carry his memory. Allen is survived by his sons Jonathan (Shelly), Timothy, and Joshua; his sister, Realyn ( Mark) Matchem, his granddaughter, Miia as well as his parents, Cherlyn and David Brian.

In addition to being a dedicated family man, Allen had passions that brought him joy and allowed him to express himself uniquely. Music played a huge role in his life, particularly punk music where Green Day held a special place in his heart. You could often find him jamming out to their songs with a big smile on his face.

Movies were also an important part of Allen's life. He enjoyed a wide variety of genres. Nothing made him happier than watching a good movie surrounded by loved ones, whether it be an action-packed thriller or a heartfelt comedy.

A memorial service will be held on January 18, 2024, at Pierson's Funeral Services located at 4121 17 Ave SE in Calgary, AB T2A 0T1. The service will begin at 1:00 PM and will be an opportunity for family and friends to come together.
