Alvin Eugene Zentner

Alvin Eugene Zentner passed away, peacefully and surrounded by family, on Tuesday August 28, 2018. He went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 60 years. Alvin was born in Eastend, SK on August 8, 1958 to Christian Zentner and Betty Knudsen. All who knew Alvin will miss him deeply. He will be especially missed by his wife, Lydia and children, David, Julia and Madalyn. He is survived by his mother Betty, his siblings Clark (Cathie), Lorne (Sandi) , Stewart (Susan), Dawn, and their children. He will also be greatly missed by Lydias siblings Susie (Steve), Martha (Joe), Helen (Garry), Jacob (Darlene), Albert (Melody), and their families. He was predeceased by his father Christian, younger brother Jeffrey, sister-in-law Esther (Jim) and children, and Lydias parents Cornelius and Helena Janzen. Alvin was creative – he enjoyed sketching, writing, building things, inventing, and making wine and cider. He had a content disposition and seldom complained. He was resilient, had big ideas and even bigger dreams

A Funeral Service will be held for Alvin at Abbeydale Christian Fellowship (1352 Abbeydale Dr SE, Calgary) on Saturday September 1, 2018 at 1:30 pm. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.

Graveside Service will take place following the ceremony at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
