Andrew William McVeigh

In loving memory of Andrew William McVeigh, who brought joy and light wherever he went. Andrew, born on July 3, 1969, in Regina, Saskatchewan, left this world on April 8, 2024, in Edmonton, Alberta. His legacy lives on through his incredible journey filled with love, laughter, and compassion.

Andrew was not just a plumber; he was a man with a heart of gold and a spirit that touched everyone he met. His larger-than-life personality filled every room with warmth and his loyalty and protectiveness endeared him to all. Andrew poured his whole heart into everything he did, whether it was fixing things with his skilled hands or offering support to those in need. He possessed an abundance of charm that drew people towards him, and his generosity knew no bounds.

One of the fondest memories shared by many is Andrew's love for singing loudly and laughing wholeheartedly. His big hugs were comforting and his passion for life was contagious. Always onto new hobbies, Andrew embraced every experience with enthusiasm and a thirst for knowledge.

Andrew leaves behind a legacy cherished by many. He is predeceased by his parents, James Patrick and Ethel Faye; and brother, Gerard and survived by his children, James, Rebecca, Grayson, Garrett & Finn; his siblings, Laurel, Erin, Nicki, Jennifer, Matt, Jeff, David, Mike; and many extended family and friends in Calgary, Edmonton and Kelowna.   Although he is no longer physically present among us, the memories of his kind spirit and unwavering support will forever resonate in the hearts of all who knew him. 

Andrew William McVeigh will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

A Visitation will be held for Andrew at Pierson's Funeral Service (4121 - 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Sunday April 14 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
