Anna Vandezande

VANDEZANDE, Anna May 13, 1921 April 3, 2012 Anna Vandezande passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the age of 90 years. She will be remembered by her daughter Dorothy Ellen Butler and son Harvey Leonard Martin; as well as twenty-eight grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren; her sister Paulina of Calgary and brother Adolph of England. Anna was predeceased by her first husband George Alan Martin and second husband Robert Charles Vandezande and her daughter Mary Edith Williams. Anna was the eighth of fourteen siblings. She worked in the four Calgary hospitals throughout her working years. Later in life, Anna developed a love for doing arts and crafts, which she sold at flea markets and arts and crafts shops. A Funeral Service will be held at Pierson’s Garden of Peace Chapel (16 Avenue & Garden Road NE 243208 Garden Road NE) Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with a time for visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family at www.piersons.ca.
