Annette Ruth Henry

Annette Henry passed away peacefully on February 18, 2022, in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 65 years. Annette was full of life and loved by so many. She leaves behind her immediate family, Greg, Kathie, James, Carter, Nikki, Anthony, Ethan, Liam, Darwin and Jennifer; as well as her family whom she lived with for many years, Debbie, Savannah, Morgan, Terry, Cave, Ever and her cat Josie. She will be missed by her friends at Bell Street, Vecova, and New Territories.

Annette worked at Palmer Salmon for over 10 years and was very proud of the work she did there and just loved her “Boss” Cheryl. She was a huge Calgary Flames fan and equally loved her ball team, The Ballbreakers, her cheers were heard across the diamonds! Annette loved camping, dancing at the legion, and sitting around the campfire any time of year. She also loved painting, doing puzzles and attending her creative classes. She always knew how to start the day off right no matter what the weather was, with her positive outlook on life and her famous saying “A nice day out today”, followed by a smile. Annette will be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.

A service will be held for Annette at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 10:00am, followed by a Celebration of life at the Bowness Legion (138 Bowness Center NW, Calgary) doors will open at 12:00 pm noon.
