Anthony Duku Lugala

Anthony Duku Lugala, age 25 passed away at home on June 16, 2017 after a lengthy illness. He was born on July 8, 1991 in Yei, South Sudan. Having contracted polio when he was 18 months old, Anthony was left paralyzed from the waist down. He landed in Canada on the 11th of December, 2011 along with his mom and 2 brothers and completed his schooling at Forest Lawn High School. Anthony was waiting to be accepted into the Radio Broadcasting program at SAIT and had hoped to pursue a career in that field. During his wait, he worked for Sundridge Cineplex and ADT Security. The family will receive friends at a Visitation to be held from 5-9 PM on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel. Funeral Services will take place at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Funeral Home with Interment to follow the service at Rocky View Garden of Peace.
