April had a passion for cooking, and being in the kitchen was one of her favourite past times. She loved feeding her family and loved ones. April was the epitome of a strong, resilient, Indigenous women. In her youth, April ventured east to her second home, Toronto. Yet, the call of the mountains and her family in Calgary lured her back home, where her heart truly belonged.
