It is with deep. deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Arthur Williams at his resort in Jamaica. His dream of creating a place of beauty to be shared with vacationers and world travelers was nearing the first stages of completion. Arthur was a dedicated, loving husband and father who focused his energies on his family and building a future for them.
A graduate of the University of Winnipeg with a degree in Economics, Arthur’s career came full circle – from a young entrepreneur in Winnipeg, to an investment broker in Calgary, and then pursuing his lifelong dream of owning a luxurious resort in the country of his birth.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife Julie, children Tulsa, Cleo and Spencer, his mother Eliese; brothers Dion, from Florida, Marscello (Sabrina), from Airdrie; sister Laverne and her three boys, Donald, Dean and Donovan, from New Mexico, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family from across Canada, the US and Jamaica.
Arthur’s legacy of determination, purpose-driven philosophy and deep faith in God will live on in his children. He will be saddly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Arthur Williams to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
A service will be held at a later date, and will be live-streamed for those wishing to attend virtually.
