Barbara Anne Peterson

Barbara passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the age of 76 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Murray Peterson; daughter Elizabeth (Kooshyar) Naghshineh, son Nathan Peterson; grandchildren Carter and Evan. Barbara had a passion for taking care of people and began her nursing education at 17 years old in Halifax, NS, and completed as an R.N. in Calgary, AB in 1973. She enjoyed her Nursing and Care-Giving career for over 40 years. Her other interests included travels, adventures, and her love for dogs. There was never a dull moment with Barbara around! A Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Willow Park Chapel (940 Acadia Drive SE, Calgary) on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 11:00 am.
