Betty Jean Lewis

On Tuesday, November 15, 2022 Mrs. Betty Jean Lewis (nee Vance) of Calgary, Alberta passed away at the age of 92 years, beloved wife of the late Harold F. Lewis.
Betty worked for the Willett Hospital in Paris, Ontario. Upon retirement she moved to Calgary. Betty was the Queen of Yahtzee. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee with the family, whether they wanted to or not. Betty loved spending her winters in Hemet, California with her extended family.
Betty is survived by her children, Leah and her husband Jack, Donald, Pat and his wife Brenda, Joseph, Edward and his wife Michelle, Mark and his wife Sheri, Tom and his wife Pam, partner, Mary of the late Robert and widow, Beverley of the late Bruce; twenty one grandchildren; over 30 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Besides her husband Harold and two sons Robert and Bruce, Betty is also predeceased by her parents, Jim and Zellah; all her brothers and sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Canadian Legion Hall, Paris, Ontario on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
If relatives and friends so desire, memorials in Betty’s name may be made to the charity of ones’ choice.
Betty will be forever in our hearts.
