Brent Nelson Mckibbin

We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Brent McKibbin, beloved son of Jean and Jim McKibbin, on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the age of 38 years. Brent grew up in Okotoks and lived in Beaverlodge, Rocky Mountain House and most recently Calgary. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed boating, camping and fishing. He worked in the oil patch for many years and was in the process of completing Engineering Technology at SAIT with plans to work in the engineering field. Brent especially enjoyed spending time with family and was dearly loved by them. He will be sorely missed. Brent is survived by his parents Jean and Jim; sister Julie (Brad) Allan of Brisbane, Australia; twin brothers Lundy, of Winnipeg and Troy (Hayley), and their children Macy, Lola, Miles and Ellie, of Okotoks; grandmother Lola Findlay, of Vulcan; and many wonderful aunts uncles and cousins. A Funeral Service will be held for Brent at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Banister Chapel (384 Banister Drive, Okotoks) on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Those wishing to visit with the family prior to the service may do so between 12:15 – 12:45 pm.
