Colins, Caraleigh (also known as Coraleigh)
It is with heavy hearts that the family and dear friends of Coraleigh Colins announce her passing on Monday, February 20, 2017, in Calgary at the age of 97 years. Coraleigh is survived by her sisters, Maria Perret Krebs, Freida Marie Perret, and Hermine Rose Perret Moser, all of Switzerland; her dear friend Beverley Weissenborn of Calgary, as well as other dear friends she has met along the way. Coraleigh was pre-deceased by her husband Charles Patrick Colins and her sister Anna Perret. Born in Switzerland, Coraleigh had a life filled with adventure, including attending the Queen’s Coronation in 1953. She was a rebellious woman who stayed true to her opinions, if one had the pleasure of meeting her, they would not soon forget her. Coraleigh has left an imprint on this earth that will be difficult to fill, she will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. A Graveside Service will be held for Coraleigh at Queens Park Cemetery (3219 – 4 Street NW, Calgary) on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
