Carmen Duran passed away at home on Sunday, December 30, 2013 at the age of 82 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Dora (Jorge) Tejada and Ernesto (Celsa) Gutierrez; grandchildren, Veronica, Josue, Adania and Walter all of Calgary, and, Marlon, Ingrid, Anibal, Lupita and Cesar all of El Salvador; siblings, Manuel (Lilian) Duran of New York, and Silvia (Antonio) Arevalo of El Salvador; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her son Anibal Gutierrez. Funeral Services will be held for Carmen at First Baptist Church, 1311 4 Street SW, on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Eijiro Campo officiating.
