Carol Elizabeth Anne Murray (Nee Cossar)

Carol Murray passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at the age of 62 years. She will be dearly missed by her husband Gary Murray, of Calgary; her mother Elizabeth Cossar; her sister Jane Cossar-Fischer (Tim Fischer); brothers John Cossar and Rob Cossar; all of London, ON; a niece, nephews and many dear friends. Carol was predeceased by her father James Cossar.

Carol was born and raised in London, Ontario. After graduating from University, she worked as a teacher in BC. She married her sweetheart from home and they began their life together in Calgary in 1983, where they have resided since. Carol loved spending her time with family and friends, golfing with the girls, relaxing at the family cottage, playing with her dog Penny and traveling with Gary were all important to her. She filled her spare time with volunteering with several organizations. Carol loved the world of education and excelled in her role as a teacher, principal and administrator with the Calgary Board of Education. Carol’s priority was Gary, and her passing leaves a heavy heart as well as a life time of wonderful memories.

A celebration of life will be held when restrictions are lifted and the timing is right. At Carol’s request, she will be cremated. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family at www.piersons.ca.
