Carolyn Evelyn Hamilton

HAMILTON, Carolyn Evelyn “Lyn” (nee Hill) June 25, 1941 – January 14, 2015 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Carolyn Hamilton announce her passing on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the age of 73 years. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband and best friend of 52 years, M.A. Scotty Hamilton; her children, Tara (Greg) Paisley, and Darby Hamilton; her sisters, Barb (Gordon) Card, Rosemary Kyle, Tricia (Serge) Syz, and Kathie (Roy) Hill; her brothers-in-law, Elmer (Dora) Hamilton, John (Anne) Hamilton, and Allan Hamilton; and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends. Lyn enjoyed a long career in the health care system, working as a nurses aid in many departments such as emergency, short-term, and various nursing home facilities. She brought care and compassion to the many lives she touched. She enjoyed reading, walking, and singing and loved a good game of Scrabble. Lyn will be missed but never forgotten by all who knew and loved her. At Lyn’s request, no formal service will be held.
