On an impromptu visit to the 24 Hour Church of Elvis in Portland, they decided to get married July 17th, 1999. They then lived in Australia for several years where their child Mason, was born. Their adventures then allowed them to live in New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Malaysia. They returned to Calgary in the winter of 2020. Carolyne was creative and artistic.
