Charlene (Grouette) Rempfer passed away unexpectedly on June 5, 2021 at the age of 70.
Charlene was a loving, compassionate, empathetic, kind, and genuine person. She had a fantastic sense of humour, and was always “The Cool One”. Her infectious smile and gift of “the gab” could light up and captivate any room she entered, and she always left those she interacted with feeling happier than she found them.
Charlene loved all people, most especially those she held dear. For many years of her life she worked as a support to seniors and built many special bonds. She was always making new friends who adored her. Char’s family (including her fur baby Tika) and her friends were the most important things to her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend.
Charlene is survived by her daughter Candice (Shawn), daughter Brandy (Ben), as well as granddaughters Violet and Liv, and grandsons Noah, Presley, Bowie and Keenan. She is predeceased by her husband Dwayne Rempfer and daughter Kerry (Rempfer) Butler.
Charlene will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her; though her presence and love will live on through those whose lives she touched. “Say not in grief ‘she is no more’ but in thankfulness that she was”- Hebrew Proverb.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Almost Home Canine Rescue (
