Charles Richard Hockey

HOCKEY, Charles Richard “Rick” October 15, 1937 – December 16, 2014 In remembrance of Charles Richard Hockey, born in Ontario on October 15, 1937, and passed away December 16, 2014 at the age of 77 years. Charles moved to Red Deer in 1978 and then to Calgary in 1980. He enjoyed a career with Hot Shot Company for many years, then moved on to a career at a farm until January 14, 2004. Charles met his girlfriend, Carrie Blacksmith, in 1994 and has 3 step-children, Malcolm Blacksmith, Clarice Blacksmith and Knowlton Blacksmith. He cherished his grandchildren, Adam, Nigel, Legacy, Sierra, Tianna, River and Chantelle; and his special daughter, Brooke M.S. Charles was an out going person and will be dearly missed. The family would like to thank the staff at the Foothills Medical Center, specifically Units 94 and 91 for their care and compassion.
