Chaya Shilpa Chand

Chaya Chand passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Foothills Hospital at the age of 23 years. She will be dearly missed by her parents Satish and Shagni Chand; her only brother Pavhan; their dear pet Teddy; a large extended family; and many friends. Chaya was born and raised in Calgary, graduated from Forest Lawn High School and was in the final months of completing her nursing degree at Mount Royal University. She was a remarkable young woman who was bright, intelligent, kind, loving and giving. We love you Chaya. You will never be forgotten. A Funeral Service will be held for Chaya at Pierson’s Garden of Peace Chapel, 16 Avenue/Trans-Canada Hwy at Garden Road/100 Street NE on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Cremation will follow.
