Cherie Yvonne Morrison

Morrison, Cherie Yvonne December 6, 1933 – August 19, 2014 Cherie Morrison passed away on August 19, 2014 at the age of 80 years. She will be dearly missed by her husband William “Bill” Morrison; their six children Rick (Hallie) of Cardston, Cindy Leavitt, Gerald (Jeanette), Timothy (Charlene), Daniel (Tracey), and Cherie Morrison-Ford, all of Calgary; 23 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Cherie was born and raised in Calgary. She loved music, crafts, quilting and kept herself busy in the community. She was a faithful and diligent member of The LDS Church, serving most recently as a temple worker. She had a love of family history and the discovery of her roots. Cherie loved people and was in constant selfless consideration of others. Her greatest love was her family where she has left a wonderful legacy. A Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Calgary Stake Centre (2021 – 17 Avenue SW, Calgary) on Monday, August 25 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
