Cheryl Margaret Krug (Nee Smith)

On Friday, June 9, 2023 Cheryl Margaret Krug, beloved wife of Dave Krug of Calgary, Alberta passed away at the age of 58 years.

Cheryl was born and raised in Calgary. She shared a deep love for Dave, and Dave reciprocated this special love to her. They were married in May 2004. Cheryl was an outgoing and friendly person. She always shared her time and talents generously with everyone. Cheryl took great pleasure in gathering with family and friends. Her organizational skills were especially appreciated by the members of her favourite trailer club. Cheryl worked for Shelter Canadian Properties for over 30 years achieving Resident Manager, and earning her Real Estate License along the way. She was a very active volunteer in the Calgary Residential Rental Association.

Besides her loving husband Dave, Cheryl is also survived by her father-in-law Bill Krug; her sister Karen Smith; cousins Lynne (Wayne) Ellis; Kenny (Trish) Klassen, and Kim (Kurtis) Mortimer and their families. She was predeceased by her parents Earl and Joyce Smith and her mother-in-law Betty Krug.

A Funeral Service will be held for Cheryl at Pierson’s Funeral Service, 4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary, Alberta on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 1:30 p.m.
