Chol Majak Issa Con

Chol Con passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the age of 46 years with his brother by his side. Chol was born in Panriang, South Sudan on November 2, 1969. Chol will be lovingly remembered by his wife Nyanduel Lueth Padang; his son Kon; his mother, five siblings, and many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father. Chol came to Canada in 2004 from South Sudan. He was a faithful employee of Coco Brooks for the past nine years and will be sadly missed by his friends and co-workers. He was a very active member in his church community, St. Luke’s Anglican Church. He was involved in both the English and Dinka services. Chol was a sports enthusiast and an avid runner. His main mode of transportation were his feet. A Funeral Service will be held for Chol at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday, May 21, 2016. Viewing will commence at 10:00 am with Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 am. An interment will follow the funeral service at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Friends and family are invited to St. Luke’s Anglican Church for a time of remembrance and refreshments following the interment.
