Chris Ogonoski passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the age of 68 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Laura Ogonoski, Angela Maitland, K.C. Willcock, Melanie Speck, Paula Ogonoski, and David Picciano; grandchildren, Jenna, Jodi, Joey, Jessica, Autumn, Alexis, Brittany and Madeline; great granddaughter, Aleha; a great grandson due in April; sister, Carol Broney; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Ann. Chris was born and raised in Winnipeg. He worked as an electrician in Calgary for many years before working as a security officer the latter part of his working years. He loved fishing and camping. He also enjoyed football and hockey, but he was an avid fan of music. He loved listening to Country and old time Rock and frequented Big Valley Jamboree for many years. He will be missed by all who knew him for his sense of humour and his big heart. A Memorial Service will be held for Chris at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
