Corinne “Corey” Janet Whitmore

Corey Whitmore passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023 at the age of 71 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Michell Kennedy of Fort McMurray, AB; grandchildren Joshua (Tasha), Emerson and Jaimeson; Sister Renee Bueckert of Nanaimo, BC; numerous nieces and nephews; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Fred Whitmore, sons Michael Whitmore and Martin Whitmore, parents Frank & Mary Bueckert, and sister Sandra Bueckert.

Corey was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK. She eventually came to Alberta and Married the love of her life Fred in Cochrane in 1982. They moved a few times and eventually settled in Calgary which has been their home ever since. Corey loved to bake, knit and sew and she could also play the piano. One of her greatest passions was her involvement with the Guns of the Golden West, where she would participate in putting on old west gun shows.
