Daniel Enns passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the age of 59 years. He will be dearly missed by his mother Anna Enns; his 5 nieces and nephews: Karlene Enns, Andrew Mancini, Jesslyn Mancini, Kashetin White and Kadyn White; many dear friends including Michael & Maureen, Marlene and Rosemary to name just a few.
Danny was predeceased by his father William “Bill” Enns and sister Deborah “Debbie” Mancini.
Danny was born and raised in Calgary in the community of Bankview, where he attended Knob Hill Elementary School and Viscount Bennett Junior and Senior High School. He was a permanent fixture within the family home and in his beloved community his entire life. After completing school, Danny worked at a variety of jobs, spending many of his working years in the Insurance Profession. He also had some “side hustles” that included looking after several of the neighbourhood yards and gardens. During the past several years, Danny worked at Lowes, where he was a Department Manager overseeing a staff who dearly respected him. In his earlier years, Danny was very involved in Scouts Canada, and cherished the time he mentored young people. Over the past several years, he was a caregiver to his sister Debbie throughout her illness and more recently to his mother as her health has been declining, always putting her needs first before his own. Danny loved his family and was totally devoted to their wellbeing. He was a hard worker, very handy, kind, genuine, mostly quiet and very generous. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
