Darren Desmond Badger

Darren Badger passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the age of 42 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Donna Badger; sisters Jodi-Lynn Badger and Vanessa Badger (Roderick Hunter); children David Voniak, Nathaniel Badger, Dawna Badger and Mackenzie Badger; nieces and nephews Kimwasin, Willow and Matthew; aunts, uncles and cousins from the Badger and Kiyawasew families; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Larry Kiyawasew and both sets of his grandparents. Darren was born and raised in Grand Prairie, AB. When he was 10 his family moved to Calgary, AB which has been his home ever since. Darren loved to play the guitar, sing and spend time with his family. He was a proud Entrepreneur of his business Badger Moving and Junk removal. He would go out of his way to help people. Darren will be remembered for his great sense of humour and how much he loved to laugh and a smile. A Funeral Service will be held for Darren at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 2:00 pm. A Wake will be held for Darren at the Sturgeon Lake Community Center (Sturgeon Lake, AB) on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 4:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Darren at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church (Sturgeon Lake, AB) on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 1:00 pm
