David Bruce Miller

David Bruce Miller, a devoted partner, father, and accomplished businessman, passed away in Calgary, Alberta, on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on October 4, 1950, in Saint John, New Brunswick, David exemplified dedication and success throughout his life.

David's professional journey spanned across Canada and parts of the United States, during which he left a significant mark in the business world. His final role was as Business Director at Ace Vegetation, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the company and nurturing relationships with its customers. Known for his sharp business acumen and strategic insights, David was a very successful businessman whose work ethic inspired many.

Educationally, David was well-prepared for his career. He held a background in mining and engineering, but his proudest academic achievement was obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA). This accomplishment showcased his commitment to continuous learning and personal development, traits that defined both his professional and personal life.

David was a very devoted partner to Karen Mattick, who remained by his side through all of life's ups and downs. His unwavering support for his three children, Renee, Mark, and Vaughn, was testament to his character; he was a pillar of strength and encouragement, ensuring they received the education necessary for a bright future.

He was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy Jean (nee Mackenzie) and Harry Clifford Miller, who provided the foundation for the man he became. David leaves behind a legacy of hard work and dedication. His memory will live on!

There will not be a formal service. Cremation has taken place at Foothills Crematorium.
