David Stanley Dougan

David Dougan passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the age of 66 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Jenny Dougan, of Edmonton, AB, Shane (Jolanda) Dougan, of Red Earth Creek, AB, and Shawna Dougan (Danny), of Grande Prairie, AB; grandchildren James, Nikayla, Chelsea, Blake, Kairie, Jlyn, Darion; 6 sisters; 3 brothers; numerous nieces and nephews; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Bill & Lorraine Dougan. David was born in Olds, AB. He eventually married and homesteaded in Valleyview, AB. After a number of years he returned to Sundre, which is where he has lived ever since. David enjoyed fishing, hunting and wood working. He was a jack of all trades, but he was truly a great mechanic. David’s humour and willingness to try and see light in any situation will truly be missed. A Celebration of David’s Life will be held at his brother Ken Dougan’s residence (across from Tim Horton’s) on Saturday, September 14, 2019.
