Dave came into this world on December 18, 1951 in Calgary, Alberta, and departed peacefully on September 28, 2021 surrounded by family in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Dave grew up in Calgary and in 1972 graduated from SAIT as an engineering technologist. During his career in Canada Dave worked at HW Klaussen Associates, Reid Crowther and Associates, Cohos Evamy Partners, and Bains Engineering. In 1998 Dave relocated to Florida with the love of his life, Patricia and four of their seven children. Dave spent many hours researching the family genealogy and tutoring in Math and Science. In 2000 Dave applied to St. Petersburg College to pursue his lifelong dream of earning an Engineering degree. He graduated from the University of South Florida with his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, majoring in Roadway Drainage and Transportation with a minor in Volcanology. From 2008 Dave was honored to work at URS/AECOM as a Roadway Drainage Engineer and considered the Veterans Expressway in Tampa his legacy project. Dave was passionate about his family, enjoying all the time he spent with Patricia, their children, and grandchildren. Dave and Patricia travelled the world always returning to their favorite place, Hawaii. He is survived by his wife and love of his life, Patricia; children, Caroline (Scott), Roger (Hannah), Jill (David), Craig (Susan), Danielle (Jason), Aaron (Melaina) and Anthony; his parents Bill and Betty Graham; his grandchildren Andie, Bodhi, Matilda, Ramona, Cali, Carson, Sean, Madi, Simon, Jami, Drew, Jordan, and Adrianna; his sisters Marg (Bill), Carolyn, his brother Norman (Sue); and a large extended family including his beloved four-legged friend Denali. Dave will be laid to rest in Hawaii. A Celebration of Life will be held on October 10, 2021 from 11-3 at Rusty Bellies 937 Dodecanese Blvd, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689.
