Dennis Fitzgerald Carlos

Dennis Carlos passed away on Saturday November 9, 2019 at the age of 76 years.
He is pre-deceased by his parents and survived by his children, grandchildren and many extended family and friends in Calgary and Antigua.
Dennis was born in Antigua where he spent his younger years before moving to the US Virgin Islands in his mid-teens. In 1974, he immigrated to Canada.
For over 25 years, he worked at Lucerne Foods/Safeway before retiring in 1996.
Dennis was humble and private – never really sharing too much about himself or wanting to be the center of attention. When he did get close with people, he was a loyal and fun friend.
He enjoyed purchasing and fixing up old radios and cassette players. He was a little old school because he would listen to his favorite music (reggae and calypso) on cassette tapes! He loved cooking and baseball. His favorite team was the Toronto Blue Jays. Dennis also liked spending time in nature, going to the park and feeding the birds.
A Funeral Service for Dennis will take place at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday November 23 at 11:00 a.m.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.
