Dennis Ricky Racette

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, cousin, uncle, father, grandfather and cherished friend, Dennis Ricky Racette, on April 23rd, 2021.

He is predeceased by his mother and father; Marie Caron and Ernest Rigler; step-father Joseph Caron; sisters Dianne Mould and Jeannie Champagne; brother Stan Racette; his beloved dog Bella. He is survived by his sons, Isaac Racette (Hannah Pearcy) and Cameron Webb (Shannon Scheide); his former wife Tereasa Cudmore and step children Amy, Crystal and Sarah (Paul Mitchell); grandchildren Desiree, Seth, Hailey, Chloe, Kolby, Aiden and Jackson; siblings Gail McNeil (Neil McNeil), Joannie Klyne (Joe Ergen), Donny Racette (Sonia Wall), Judy Rigler-DanZant (Paul DanZant), Christina Racette, Wilma Barker, David Caron (Tanya Healey) and Donna Caron (Rob Mignon) and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Ricky was a strong, stubborn man with the most beautiful soul. He was an immensely caring person especially when it came to helping anyone around him; he could ease the minds of anyone who was at their worst with the greatest advice, an unconditionally open ear, and always a shoulder to cry on. From a very young age, Ricky took up fishing and just like his mother (Marie), he had a very strong streak of luck that never seemed to fade; he could catch a fish rain or shine, even when those he was with couldn’t manage a single bite. He shared his passion of fishing with his mother and step-father (Marie and Joe) and some of his siblings. These are memories that will be forever cherished along with so many more in all areas of his life, with anyone and everyone who knew him.

Ricky’s memory will forever live on in the minds and hearts of everyone he knew and loved.
