It is with saddened hearts that the family of Dennis Lecoy announce his passing on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the age of 57 years. Dennis is survived by his parents, Caroline and Richard Beggs; his siblings Charlene, William (Billy), Nicole, Carolyn, and Jimmi; his uncles and aunts, Hal, Frank, Marvin, Rod, Cindy, and Anne; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Dennis was an incredible baker and cook but an even more incredible singer; he was known to serenade his mother, Caroline, with Neil Diamond’s classic hit ‘Sweet Caroline’ at karaoke to great ovations. Dennis was a person you couldn’t help but like, his charm and charisma were infectious, his smile contagious, the imprint he has left on this earth will never be filled. His family finds great solace in knowing he is now with his Lord and Saviour.
A Funeral Service will be held for Dennis at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 1:00 pm.
