It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a dear wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, Diane Beatrice Kettle (Warren). Diane passed away suddenly at her home in Calgary, Alberta on November 13th, 2017 at the age of 60. Left to mourn her loss is her loving husband Wayne; beloved sons Jason (Camie) and Steven (Paula); sisters Beverly (Russell), Linda (Johnny), Jane (Don), Merina (Eric) Janet (Dave), Lorretta (Clarence, deceased), and Donna; brothers George (Debbie) and Claude (Rose); numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by parents Edgar and Myrtle (Bunter) Warren, and brothers Dorman, Don, and Emmanuel. Diane was born on November 8th, 1957 and grew up in Ramea, NL, moved to Port Aux Basques, NL where she raised her family, then moved with her family to Calgary in 1999 where she lived out her remaining years. Early on her resiliency was evident, as she started working at the age of 14 to support herself and continued to work as she raised her two sons with her husband, Wayne. In recent years Diane faced many health challenges, which she handled with admirable strength and grace. She was a loving mother who would go to any lengths to support and protect her two sons; she was so proud of the men they have become. Diane will forever be remembered for her love of cooking and baking, her kind heart, and the love and laughter that she brought into so many lives. Diane found immense joy in being around family and friends and sharing great food and fun; she was fiercely loyal; a true angel who will be missed by all lucky enough to have known her. The family will receive friends at a Visitation on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 6-9 PM at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held at Pierson’s Funeral Home, 4119 17th Ave. SE Calgary on Friday, November 17th at 1:00. If friends so desire, donations can be made to The Kidney Foundation in Diane’s honour
