Dolly was predeceased by her parents Albert and Delsa Perrett; a brother Randy Perrett, and brother-in-law Doran Flexhaug.
Dolly was born in Cardston, Alberta and raised in Mountain View, Alberta. After graduation, she married her sweetheart Dan and they moved to Calgary where she worked at the Cancer clinic for 2 years. After the birth of their first child, she then stayed home to raise her family, who were so important to her. Basketball, volleyball, baseball, cruises, parties and get-togethers made life so much fun and made so many wonderful memories. Dolly loved fashion and home design and even dreamed of mixing fabrics, colours and items together. She loved to travel, loved beaches and sand, and learned about the many cultures in the world. Dolly loved her friends and truly cared for them. What a classy lady! In her own words, she recently said “I’ve been battling breast cancer for the last ten years. I have learned a lot and it’s changed the way I live my life. I appreciate many experiences that I took for granted before. Every day is truly a gift.” Dolly was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
We are grateful for all the doctors, nurses and staff of every clinic and care centre she visited over the years.
