Domonic Angelo Rossignol

Domonic Rossignol passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the age of 31 years.

Domonic will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his mother, Kristen Rossignol; father, Angelo Downey; stepfather, Bam Beals; children, Denzel & Dhiren; siblings, Malenya David, Andrico Reid, Jade Rossignol, Justice Rossignol, Angelo Rodriguez-Downey, Alihya Rodriguez-Downey, Mekhi Rossignol; uncle, Ricardo Downey; godfathers, Biffy and Jason Downey; godsiblings, Danny Smith, Berease Downey & Morgan Crawley; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family in Calgary and Nova Scotia. Domonic is predeceased by his brother, Angelo Rossignol, maternal grandparents, Pamela Spataro & Reginald Rossignol; paternal grandparents, Diane Downey & Douglas Smith; and aunts, Kay and Sonia.

Domonic was born and raised in Halifax. At 18, he moved to Calgary then would travel back and forth from Calgary to Nova Scotia. He lived life on the edge. He was athletic and practiced the combat sport, Muay Thai. Most of all he loved his kids.

Friends are invited to a visitation at Pierson’s Funeral Service (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Friday December 1 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

A Memorial Service is being planned in Nova Scotia at later date.
