Donald Arthur Duxbury

November 26, 1955 — October 16, 2016

AKA: Don, Donny, Donald Duck

Donald is survived by his siblings, Marilyn Edwards, Pat Hauck, Susan Duxbury (Garry Filpula), Bonnie Thiele (Allan Thiele), Robert Duxbury and many nieces, nephews, cousins and one uncle, William (Bill) Grier. Donald was predeceased by his parents Frances and Earl Duxbury, his brother David, and brother-in-laws, Alfred Hauck and Arnold (Joe) Edwards. Donald enjoyed fishing and riding his motorbikes; one that he had built himself. He liked to play pool with his dad and learned to load shot gun shells and trap shoot. He loved his little dog Patches and going for walks. He bought bus passes every month and would map out tours he would take. His favorite meals were roast beef with yorkshire pudding, “All meat pizza” at Pizza Bobs and steak on Friday at Pazzer’s Pub in Bowness Donald had tickets as a sheet metal worker and welder. He had many friends. He was kind, gentle and loyal. He would give you the shirt off his back. He would laugh at his own jokes. He had a lot in common with “The Fonz”. He was a peace maker, not a fighter but don’t get him mad. His blue eyes would turn turquoise. He respected people and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Dad was excited about his “Grey Cup” Son! His final words with a wink “I love you, don’t be sad!” Family and friends are invited to join us for a grave side memorial at Queens Park Cemetery on Donalds birthday, November 26 @ 11:00 am. in section 1-25-P
