It is with great sadness that the family of Donald “Bud” Slous announces his passing on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the age of 79 years. Bud will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years Edith Slous; children Brett (Wendy) Hobbs of Chestermere, AB and Todd Hobbs of Vancouver, BC; his grandson Jeremy Hobbs of Chestermere, AB; great-grandson Jaxon Hobbs and his sister Ruby (Fred) Keller of Calgary, AB. Donald was predeceased by his mother and step father Elsie and Don Forbes and his brother and sister-in-law Gordon and Donna Slous. A Celebration of Bud’s Life will be held at the Prince of Peace Village, Banquet Hall (243209 Garden Road NE, Calgary) on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
