Donald Eugene Lalumiere
September 12, 1944 — August 15, 2022
Donald LaLumiere passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022 at the age of 77 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons Trevor LaLumiere of Calgary, AB, and Scott (Bobbi) LaLumiere of Courtenay, BC; granddaughters Sierra and Kathleen; 3 sisters; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Yvonne LaLumiere.
Donald was born and raised in Penetanguishene, ON. At 18 he moved out west and made Calgary his home, which is where he has lived ever since. Donald was a truck driver by trade and a wood worker by hobby. He was a hard working and very talented man. He also enjoyed square dancing and camping.
A Memorial Service will be held for Donald at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada (www.diabetes.ca).
