Donna Kathleen Reti

Donna Reti passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the age of 52 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 25 years, Doug; children, Deneen Reti, of Wetaskiwin, AB, Devin Reti, of Calgary, AB, and David Frost of Old Crow, YT; granddaughter Eleanor; sister Ellen Knowles of Prince George, BC;brother Richard Knowles of Clearwater, BC; and many more family and friends. Donna was born in North Surrey, BC and raised in Cassiar, BC. After college she moved to Whitehorse where she met and married the love of her life, Douglas Reti. Doug worked for the RCMP and so the family lived in 14 different places through their life and eventually made Calgary their home. Donna was very active and loved sports. She played basketball, volleyball, baseball and hockey, but her true love was her family. A Celebration of Donna’s life will be held at the residence of Roy & Judy Louis (contact the family for location and directions – 403-238-4996) in the community of Samson Cree Nation (Maskwacis), near Wetaskiwin, Alberta, on Sunday, April 13 at 11 a.m. If friends so desire, in Donna’s memory please make a donation at your local blood bank or to the Alberta Children Hospital Foundation (www.childrenshospital.ab.ca) Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family at www.piersons.ca.
