LLOYD, Doris Catherine (nee Beattie) October 17, 1924 October 2, 2012

Doris Lloyd passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the age of 87 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Robert Beggs, of Wetaskiwin, AB, Mary Ann Janz, of Calgary, Martha Brown (Harvey), of Vulcan, AB and Daymond Lloyd (Laurie) of Gull Lake, SK; daughter-in-law Elena Beggs, of Calgary; grandchildren, Victor (Sandy), Joel, Oran, Christopher, Derek (Tiffany), Ellaine (Chris), Robert and Lacey; great grandchildren, Nichole, Ezra, Eric and Ethan; brother James Beattie, of Swift Current, SK; sister Margaret Roosen, of Langley, BC; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her first husband Robert Beggs; second husband Ezra Lloyd; and son Charlie Beggs. Doris was born and raised on the family farm in Saskatchewan. She met the first love of her life, Robert Beggs while he was training for the Royal Air Force in Canada. They were married and began their family in Saskatchewan where their first son, Robert, was born. They then moved to Scotland where they were blessed with two daughters, Mary Ann and Martha. While Doris was pregnant with their fourth child, Charlie, her husband Robert was killed in action so she moved the family back to her family farm in Saskatchewan. A short time later, Doris met the second love of her life, Ezra Lloyd, and they were married and blessed with a son, Daymond. She lived the majority of her life in Saskatchewan but they eventually made Calgary their home in 1987. Doris was a hard worker at all she did and she loved to serve and help others.
