Dorothy Ruth Jarosz

Dorothy Ruth Jarosz (nee Lesperance) June 30, 1938 – March 21, 2016 Dorothy was born June 30, 1938 in Steinbach, Manitoba. She married Kasper Jarosz on October 25, 1958 and they celebrated 57 wonderful years together. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Kasper and their children: son Jeffrey (Susan), Jesse, Joseph; daughter Michelle (Gerald), Chantelle, Cassidy, Rochelle; son Randall (Cassie), Caitlin, Daniel; daughter Theresa, Andrew, Mary; son John (Bernice); and her five great grandchildren, Alex, Kasper, Kristian, Kendrick and Annabelle. Dorothy retired from the Calgary Catholic School board in 1998. She was a member of the Holy Trinity CWL (Catholic Women’s League) and recently celebrated her 45th year of membership. She loved being a member and volunteering at Church functions. Dorothy had a big heart and showed kindness to others, always willing to help out wherever she could. Her arms were always open and she would welcome all people to her home and in her heart. Dorothy loved to knit and crochet afghans for everyone to enjoy. Dorothy’s greatest achievement and joy in life was her family. She put their needs before her own and her selfless love for them had no bounds. She was the pillar of the family and will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered. We love you Mom, Grandma, Great-grandma, Aunty and friend.
