Duane Andrew Smith

Duane Smith passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the age of 57 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Mitchell Graham (Jen), of Barrhead, AB, and Bryanna Graham (Joe) of Aylmer, ON; grandchildren, Hailey, Nevaeh, Jay, Alivia, Carsyn; brothers Craig Smith (Chandi), and Glenn Smith, both of Toronto, ON; nieces Bianca and Tiara, and her children Layla and Jaxsyn; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Heather and parents George and Gladys Smith.

Duane was born and raised in Toronto, ON. He met the love of his life, Heather, and a few short years after they were married the family moved Calgary, which has been his home ever since. Duane was very talented with woodworking and made much of his own furniture. He loved the outdoors and especially loved being close to the Mountains. He was also a lifelong hockey fan, and loved his two home teams, the Toronto, Maple Leafs and then the Calgary Flames. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Duane's Life will be held at a later date. If friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Duane to Paws for Life at the link below.
