Earl Edward Sauter, a beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully surrounded by his children on Friday, July 19, 2024, in Calgary, Alberta, following a brave battle with cancer.
Born on November 3, 1948, in Calgary, Earl dedicated his life to being an example to his family, and his lifelong career as a realtor. Earl was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a two year mission for the church in the Ohio Mission, U.S.A. His faith and service in the church were important parts of his life and provided him with strength and comfort, especially during his illness.
Earl attended the University of Calgary, where he was an award-winning gymnast and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce. His time at university was marked by both academic and athletic excellence.
Earl’s commitment to excellence continued in his professional life, which was marked by his dedication and professionalism. He was recognized with a 40 year long service award as a realtor in 2023, a testament to his commitment and success in his career. Earl's clients and colleagues will remember him for his integrity, hard work, and the personal touch he brought to every interaction.
Outside of his professional life, Earl was an avid outdoorsman. He found solace and joy in nature, spending as much time as possible camping in the mountains. His love for the outdoors was deeply rooted in his upbringing on a farm, where he developed a lifelong affection for animals, particularly dogs. Earl dearly loved his many canine companions, who brought him great joy throughout his life.
Earl's legacy is one of love, dedication, and passion for the things he cherished most - his family, his work, and the great outdoors. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
