FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edna “Jean†Draper on July 13, 2020 at the age of 94 years.
Jean was predeceased by her husband Ken in 1989, and her son Doug in 2019.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Barbara (Mike) Kaube, daughter-in-law Mitzi; grandchildren Kimberley McRae (Kevin Lyall), Konrad & Blake Draper.
Jean will always be remembered for her kind words of wisdom, smile and laughter that would light up a room. She had a great sense of humour and was making those around her laugh – even in her last days. Jean was a good friend and always made a positive impact on those around her. She had an amazing spirit and took on life’s challenges and obstacles with grace. Jean did and saw so much in her 94 years – we will miss her great stories. She loved sweet peas, pansies and lilacs in the spring – so remember Jean when you see them.
May she watch over us all as she walks amongst her family in heaven.
Jean’s family would like to extend a special thank you to all the Doctors and Nurses that took care of her – but especially the wonderful staff at Chinook Hospice.
