Eleanor “Bunny” Ruby Brazeau
March 18, 1943 — March 7, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce that on March 7, 2021 Eleanor “Bunny†Ruby Brazeau of Calgary, Alberta passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital at the age of 77 years.
Bunny will be lovingly remembered by her son Cory (Rochelle) and his family Kyla and her son Asher, Melissa (Christian), Jacob (Faith) and his daughter Skylar, Cory Jr. and Samantha. She is also survived by her other grandchildren and great grandchildren Mark Jr. (Theresa), Markus; Julian and his daughter Alycia; Jon (Karen) and his daughters Sarah, Sativa & Melody; Muddy; and Eliza; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bunny was predeceased by her parents Eliza and Louis Rosselle, siblings William, James, Shirley, and Edward, and sons Jeffery, Darcy, Mark, & Jody.
Friends and relatives are invited for a time of visitation for Bunny from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary. Due to pandemic protocol, only 20 people are allowed in the building at one time. Please stagger your arrival time. Masks and social distancing are mandatory.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1525 45 St SE, Calgary. Cremation will follow. Due to COVID restrictions only the immediate family can attend, so the funeral will be livestreamed via the link below.
Interment of Bunny’s urn will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Queen’s Park Cemetery, 3219 – 4 St NW, Calgary, Alberta.
