Eric Robert Marek

July 6, 1993 — May 24, 2018

Eric Marek passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the age of 24 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Kacee and Kinsley Marek Dmuchacz; mother Sheri Senkiw; grandparents Kathy Marek and Carol Fabic; sister Carlie Senkiw; aunts Diane Marek and Wendy Marek; cousins Keely Janzen and Brett Senkiw; and many more family and friends. Eric was born and raised in Calgary. He loved playing hockey and did so for most of his youth. His favourite team was the Pittsburgh Penguins. He also enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his friends. A Memorial Service will be held for Eric at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
